This pendant is handmade from an authentic wax seal stamp dating back to the 1800s. When you wear it, you are wearing a piece of art history.  The wax seal stamp depicts an image of an anchor with the French words, L'Espérance Me Souttent, meaning Hope Sustains Me. In heraldry, the anchor is a symbol of hope, stability and steadfastness.
