This pendant is handmade from an authentic wax seal stamp dating back to the 1800s. When you wear it, you are wearing a piece of art history.  The wax seal stamp depicts a dog sitting down with the French word, Reconnaissance, meaning acknowledgment, recognition and gratitude. In heraldry, the dog is a symbol of faithfulness and guardianship.
